William Hunsinger
Will Hunsinger

CEO

Will has spent his entire career in the technology industry as a consultant, advisor, entrepreneur, executive, and investor. Prior to joining Riviera, Hunsinger was digital practice director for private equity fund TPG Growth, the growth platform of TPG Capital. Prior to TPG, Hunsinger was Chairman, CEO, and co-founder of SportsStream (acquired by Facebook), served as CEO and President of Vulcan Ventures-backed Evri, and also served as Entrepreneur in Residence for the Seattle-based, consumer-focused venture capital firm, Maveron. 

He previously held senior positions at Gap, Inc., Overture (acquired by Yahoo!), and Accenture. Hunsinger currently serves on the Board of Directors of V2 Ventures.
Ali Behnam
Ali Behnam

Co-founder & Managing Partner

Prior to co-founding Riviera Partners, Ali co-founded and was EVP, Operations & Services at PeopleMover, a venture-backed developer of Internet-based, Enterprise Workforce Management software for staffing, consulting, and professional services firms including CSC, Robert Half International, Lucent, and BEA Systems. PeopleMover was acquired by Opus360 in 2000. Ali began his career in professional services at Accenture and BearingPoint Consulting. 

As a Sr. Manager with BearingPoint’s Strategic Services Consulting Practice, Ali worked with the leading technology companies throughout California.
Michael Morell
Michael A. Morell

Co-founder & Managing Partner

Michael has more than 20 years of experience in executive search and technology sales. Prior to joining Riviera Partners, he founded and managed a technical search firm, Koa Networks, focused on VP Engineering, Director Engineering, and Sr Software Engineer assignments for early-stage venture-backed technology companies in Silicon Valley. By choosing to focus on technology-related search, he is able to leverage his BS and MS in Engineering and Information Technology and help companies find individuals that are responsible for building game-changing applications and services.

Michael also spent 4 years as an Officer in the Air Force where he held several Software Project Manager and Program Manager roles. He worked on a number of NASA research missions and while with the GPS Program Office, he was responsible for the development of the Department of Defense’s first joint service software simulation tool used to determine GPS navigation and its impact upon combat effectiveness. Michael was recognized for his efforts and has been published by the Military Operations Research Society.
Nishita Cummings

Managing Partner, Co-Head of Growth Equity at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors

Nishita Cummings is a managing partner and co-head of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors’ growth private equity strategies, where she is responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio companies, and deal execution. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2007, Cummings worked at Boston Avenue Capital, a value-oriented activist hedge fund focused on micro-cap and small-cap public companies, where she focused on investments in retail/apparel, medical technology, and software companies. Additionally, Cummings has held positions at LEK Consulting and the Wharton Small Business Development Center.

Cummings earned a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School and a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.
Ravi Yang Sarin
Ravi Sarin

Founding Partner & Co-Head of AEA Growth

Ravi is Co-Head and Founding Partner of AEA Growth and a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. At AEA Growth, Ravi co-leads the overall strategy and direction of the firm, in addition to leading deal teams focused on the sourcing, evaluation, and management of the Firm’s portfolio companies.

Prior to AEA Growth, Ravi was the Founder and Managing Partner of ROCA Partners, a growth equity investment firm focused on tech-enabled services and healthcare services companies. Previously, he was a Principal in the Private Equity Group at Ares Management. At Ares, Ravi helped lead investments in healthcare services, retail, and gaming, lodging & leisure among a few other sectors. Prior to Ares, Ravi was a private equity investor at Bain Capital and a consultant at Bain & Company.

Ravi has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MS in Management Science & Engineering and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
